I was curious to see how my 1969 Chrysler Newport scored and was happily surprised to find that it ranked an impressive 170 points. I can't recall any of my other vehicles getting such a high score. But what about you? How does your car score?

86 points for the BRZ (did they plan that?), but it would have been 76 if I still had all four cup holders.

Charlie gets 121, but cheated when it asked if it was a Miata or Seven because I thought that it was in spirit.

Having "caminoized", 8 throttle bodies, mixed country of origin, age (51-60), and manual on the tree utterly breaks the score. Even with -20 for unibody, I still go over 400 points with el project.

And, for anyone who would so be interested, the upcoming (AND THOROUGHLY TOO EPIC) manual Jaguar F Type R Coupe would score a 157, putting it into the Fantasy Garage category. Yes. The automatic scores 146.

I get 145 with my Escort, thanks mainly to it being both Japanese and American. But why are ash trays worth points while cup holders take them away? Ash trays are about the least cool thing you can have since you're completely destroying your car if you ever use them. Cup holders help you to not ruin your carpet during road trips where you need a drink with you or else you're stopping at every other rest area to re-hydrate.

There should also be bonus points for all of the spare parts and bottles of fluid you keep in the trunk and/or back seat.

Also, this is what the most Jalop car possible scores, apparently. A camino-ized pre-WWII Vector with 10 ash trays, duallies, and 999 Bondo patches. Plus other stuff.
